The Dedication of Kennedy McNeil

On Saturday, November 3, 2012, Phil and Dashanna McNeil will express their full appreciation in Holy Service by dedicating Kennedy Jamel McNeil to God in the presence of family and friends at Gethsemane SDA Church 2525 Sanderford Rd., Raleigh, NC 27610-5829. (919-833-8526)

The service will be officiated by Pastor Larry E. Johnson.

The McNeil family ask that you keep them in your prayers as they prepare for this sacred service acknowledging God’s sovereignty in their lives. They ask that we all take this time to ponder our relationship with God and thank Him for the gift of life and the spirit of love.

Proud to Announce

Greetings,

Dashanna and I are please to announce that we are the proud parents of a healthy baby boy name Kennedy Jamel McNeil. Weighting 6lbs 6oz and 19 inches long, this beautiful newborn has blown us away with such a successful delivery. Its been seven months, twenty-five days, seventeen hours, and thirty-six minutes since that cool starry night we found out Dashanna was pregnant. We were transformed at that moment and everything we have done to this point has been in preparation for this new little life.

Phil and Dashanna will be welcoming their first child on Friday, September 28, 2012. In an earlier article Delivered by a Kindle Fire, you will recall the couple found out that they were 4 weeks pregnant on the Kindle Fire. Well what are the odds that September 28, 2011 was the Kindle Fire (Official Release: Amazon's Kindle Fire takes shot at Apple) release date. What a coincidence!

Today, the baby weighed about 4lbs with a heart rate of 139 beats a minute. The couple was able to see distinctive facial features. Dashanna is doing well and looking forward to attending three baby showers organized by family and friends in North and South Carolina within the coming weeks.
